A.D. KRAMER

A.D. Kramer is a novelist from Long Island, New York. His fiction explores the communities people build, the rules that hold them together, and what happens when loyalty and truth come into conflict.
Raised in the Modern Orthodox Jewish community of Long Island’s Five Towns, Kramer writes contemporary fiction rooted in places and cultures rarely depicted from the inside. His debut novel, CEDARWOOD, is set in an affluent Orthodox enclave on Long Island, where family, friendship, faith and social expectation bind people together—and make certain truths difficult to tell.
Before turning to fiction, Kramer built a career in real estate and private equity. He studied directing, writing and dramaturgy at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
He is represented by Murray Weiss of Catalyst Literary Management.
